Visited the Templo Mayor in the Zocalo. Fantastic ruin of an Aztec temple that dated between 1300-1500 ish. It had been built in layers, each new ruler adding a new, bigger and better layer to the existing temple.
Lots of interesting archeological things to see in the attached museum - sculptures and offerings, sacrificial knives that had eyes and teeth.
Rained on the way out.
